The reserve is in El Rincón, a few minutes from Villa de Merlo, San Luis Province. The easiest way is to reach Merlo first and then take a vehicle to the entrance.
From central Merlo, take the road toward El Rincón and follow the signs to the reserve entrance. The stretch is short and takes 10–20 minutes by car or taxi depending on the starting point.
There is parking near the entrance. Some sections of local roads are gravel; after rain, drive with caution. Do not leave litter and respect the site capacity.
You can approach Merlo by road from San Luis city or from Córdoba. Merlo is the usual base to visit Rincón del Este and other reserves of the Comechingones range.
